A theory of everything

Hawkin's passion was the search o a theory of everything. Some simple yet rigorous explanation of the beginning, future and end (if any), of the universe.

If at the beginning was barely nothing, just matter with infinite mass in a incredible dense state. It is not way after the big bang , when matter cross an expansive universe and time was created, that the miracolous circumstance of our planet took place.

While the universe expands, we stay in our system, not too far and not close from any other planet. Attracted and repulsed by the Sun, our source of energy, heat and ultimately all living matter. A very little alteration on such forces summarized by gravity, and nothing will be the same.

One day the Sun will collapse, and life in our planet will fade. It is so far in time, that we should be concerned about other topics right now, such as biodiversity collapse, peak everything and a likely singularity.

It is almost poetic, the emptiness of space or the uniqueness of every moment. Not only because time goes in the direction of entropy, or that we framed so it goes parallel to the inevitable fate of disorder and caos... Even a clear sky, so infinite, vast and almost uniform, show us a very beautiful story of life and death.

Some stars that we see, no longer exists, they are just too far to share the light as it is now. Some others, with very weak light, may be collapsing or becoming the not so black-black holes we fear and seek. Yet, we are all travelling far away from the big bang location, at a decreasing acceleration, but still, at a speed that is hard to imagine for our slow bodies.

Hawkins teach us brilliantly, with a mixture of exquisite precision and love, stories about time, space, black holes and dark matter... Getting closer to the theory of everything, just to realize it was farther than it seems.

While many of us would forget the very more dimensions that exists in the microspace, our 4D brains should not stop pursuing, as scientists and philosophers, the poetry and dignity of knowledge.

Scientists will fail if only focusing of the formality of mathematical formulas and theorems, as philosophers would fail to be obsessed with the corners of language... not forging all our tools in the search of a more gentle, loving and generous definition of progress that may become the most inspiring story woman have ever writen.

That would be truly a story that synthesize everything don't you think?
